Ingredients

  • 2 ounces amaretto
  • 1/2 ounce bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce egg white (optional)
  • 2 maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine amaretto, bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
  2. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Add several ice cubes and shake for 20 seconds until the drink is properly chilled.
  4. Strain into a coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
