Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup light apple juice
- 2 tbsp Imperial sugar
- 2 tbsp Imperial brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp Rodelle Gourmet Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 oz Everclear or other grain alcohol (180+ proof)
- 1 apple wedge
- 1 quart sized mason jar
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine apple cider, apple juice, sugars, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the sugars have dissolved.
- Reduce to a simmer and let it simmer for 1 hour. Let it cool completely.
- Remove the pot from the stove and pour in the Everclear, stirring to combine. Discard the cinnamon sticks.
- Place an apple wedge into the mason jar. Pour the moonshine into the jar and seal. Refrigerate until cold.
