Ingredients
- 1/2 apricot (from canned with juices, diced)
- 1 oz apricot juice (from the can)
- 2 to 3 fresh basil leaves (plus more for garnish)
- 1 oz orange liqueur (triple sec, Cointreau, Gran Marnier)
- 4 oz wine (sparkling, ramato or white wine)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker or small pitcher, muddle half of the diced apricot, 1 oz canned apricot juice, and 2 to 3 basil leaves.
- Add the orange liqueur and wine, then stir to combine.
- Put some ice cubes in a wine glass and add the remaining diced apricot.
- Pour the sangria over the ice and apricot in the glass.
- Garnish with a sprig of basil or a basil leaf.
