Ingredients

  • 0.70oz Kahlua
  • 3oz banana syrup
  • 1oz dark rum
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 slice banana and whipped cream, for garnish
  • BANANA SYRUP
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar (depending on your sweet tooth)
  • 2 very ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the banana syrup by heating the sugar and water until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the mashed bananas and stir. Allow the mixture to cool, then strain the liquid and discard the solids. Any leftover banana syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a day.
  2. In a blender, combine all ingredients for the cocktail, except the garnish. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the blended mixture into a milkshake glass and garnish with whipped cream and a slice of banana, if desired.
