Ingredients

  • 2 slices blood oranges
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 3 oz blood orange juice
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz club soda (or more)

Instructions

  1. Place the slices of blood oranges and simple syrup in a drink shaker and lightly muddle them.
  2. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, then add the blood orange juice and bourbon.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the cocktail into a glass filled 3/4 with ice.
  5. Top with club soda and garnish with an extra slice of blood orange.
