Ingredients

  • 1/10 cup water
  • 1/10 cup granulated sugar
  • Simple Syrup, recipe above
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/5 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/5 cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over high heat, mix the water and granulated sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. In a large glass container, combine the water, simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and muddled blueberries.
  4. Stir with a large spoon until combined.
  5. Chill overnight or pour over ice.
  6. If chilling overnight, strain the lemonade before serving to remove bits and pieces of blueberries and lemon pulp if necessary. (Or leave them in if preferred!)
  7. Chill with frozen blueberries and serve cold.
