Ingredients
- 1.50 tbsp sugar
- 3 strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 3 oz rosé wine
- 1 tbsp strawberry liqueur
- 1 oz chilled soda water
- Extra halved strawberries, for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Let the sugar syrup cool completely.
- Place the chopped strawberries in a blender and puree until smooth, adding a little water if necessary.
- Strain the strawberry puree into a large jug and stir in the cooled sugar syrup and rosé wine.
- Pour the mixture into a 2-quart metal container and freeze overnight.
- When ready to serve, use a fork to flake the frozen mixture into large ice crystals.
- In a separate jug, mix the strawberry liqueur and soda water.
- Pour the liqueur mixture into serving glasses, then top with the flaked frosé and garnish with halved strawberries.
