Ingredients

  • 0.50 g dried cannabis
  • 2 cups whole milk, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. raw almonds
  • 1 tsp. rose water
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 8 black peppercorns
  • Dried rose petals (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F.
  2. Spread 0.5 g of dried cannabis in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes until fragrant and lightly toasted.
  3. Transfer the toasted cannabis leaves to a blender and add 1 cup of whole milk, 2 Tbsp. of sugar, 1 Tbsp. of raw almonds, 1 tsp. of rose water, 1/2 tsp. of fennel seeds, 1/2 tsp. of ground cardamom, 1/4 tsp. of ground turmeric, 1/4 tsp. of kosher salt, and 8 black peppercorns. Blend until the mixture is frothy and smooth, for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the remaining 1 cup of whole milk to the blender and blend again until the sugar is fully dissolved, for about 30 seconds.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes. Let it cool.
  6. Divide the cannabis-infused mixture among 8 small glasses filled with ice, and top with dried rose petals.
