Ingredients

  • 5 oz strong black coffee
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 tsp golden caster sugar
  • ice
  • 1 oz double cream
  • 1 coffee bean

Instructions

  1. Pour the strong black coffee into a heatproof glass or mug.
  2. Stir in the coffee liqueur, dark rum, and golden caster sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in the double cream.
  4. Shake the shaker a few times until the outside feels frosty, then slowly strain the cream on top of the liqueur coffee.
  5. Use a bar spoon or pour over the back of a teaspoon to slow down the pour and ensure the cream floats.
  6. Garnish with a coffee bean and serve.
