Ingredients

  • 5 oz strong black coffee
  • 0.85 oz coffee liqueur
  • 0.85 oz dark rum
  • 1 tsp golden caster sugar
  • ice
  • 0.85 oz double cream
  • 1 coffee bean

Instructions

  1. Pour the strong black coffee into a heatproof glass or mug.
  2. Stir in the coffee liqueur, dark rum, and golden caster sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Place a handful of ice in a cocktail shaker and add the double cream.
  4. Shake the shaker a few times until the outside feels slightly frosty.
  5. Slowly strain the cream on top of the liqueur coffee, using a bar spoon or pouring over the back of a teaspoon to ensure the cream floats.
  6. Garnish the cocktail with a coffee bean and serve.
