Ingredients
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp Whole Milk
- 1.50 oz Vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp Jamaican Dark Rum
- 1 tbsp Bourbon
- 1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Pinch of Cinnamon
Instructions
- Separate the egg, setting aside the yolk.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolk and brown sugar until creamy.
- In a saucepan, heat the whole milk and heavy cream until lightly steaming.
- Slowly pour the warm milk mixture into the egg yolk, whisking until smooth.
- Add the rum, bourbon, vanilla, spices, and vanilla ice cream to the mixture, then whisk for 2 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a serving glass or pitcher and chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve cold.
