Ingredients

  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Demerara Syrup (1:1 ratio)
  • 2 oz Gosling's Black Seal Rum
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions

  1. In a collins glass, gently muddle the mint leaves.
  2. Add the freshly squeezed lime juice, demerara syrup, Gosling's Black Seal Rum, and Angostura Bitters into the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice until it's 3/4 full, then stir until combined.
  4. Top up with more crushed ice to create a dome on top.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve with a straw and a cocktail napkin ring. The drink is ready when the outside of the glass is frosted over.
