Charred Citrus and Beet Vodka Tonics

Ingredients
- 1 orange (halved)
- 1 lemon (halved)
- 2 blood oranges (halved)
- 1/2 cup beet juice
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz citrus beet juice
- 4 oz tonic
- ice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to high broil.
- Place the halved orange, lemon, and blood oranges on a baking sheet and char them in the oven for 7-10 minutes.
- Allow the charred citrus to cool, then squeeze out the juice from the halves to obtain 1/2 cup of juice.
- Mix the beet juice with the citrus juice and chill the mixture in the fridge.
- In a shaker with ice, combine the vodka and citrus beet juice. Shake well.
- Pour the mixture over ice in an 8oz. glass and top with tonic.
- Stir and serve.
