Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • A splash of water
  • 2 oz cherry blossom gin
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 6.50 oz strawberry puree (1 1/2 cups strawberries, 1 tbsp honey, and a splash of water)
  • 1 egg white
  • Edible rose petals (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by making the strawberry puree. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a wide-mouth measuring cup to remove the seeds.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, mix the cherry blossom gin, fresh lemon juice, strawberry puree, and egg white.
  4. Dry shake (without ice) for 10-15 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create a frothy texture.
  5. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for an additional 10-15 seconds to chill and dilute the cocktail.
  6. Strain the cocktail into a martini glass and garnish with edible rose petals. Enjoy!
