Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries
- 1 tablespoon honey
- A splash of water
- 2 oz cherry blossom gin
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 6.50 oz strawberry puree (1 1/2 cups strawberries, 1 tbsp honey, and a splash of water)
- 1 egg white
- Edible rose petals (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by making the strawberry puree. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a wide-mouth measuring cup to remove the seeds.
- In a cocktail shaker, mix the cherry blossom gin, fresh lemon juice, strawberry puree, and egg white.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 10-15 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create a frothy texture.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake again for an additional 10-15 seconds to chill and dilute the cocktail.
- Strain the cocktail into a martini glass and garnish with edible rose petals. Enjoy!
