Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce homemade sour mix
  • 1/2 ounce orange liqueur
  • 2-3 dashes bitters
  • 4 cherries, pitted and muddled
  • Ice
  • Optional garnishes: mint sprig, lemon slice

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the pitted cherries, sour mix, and orange liqueur. Muddle together to release the cherry juice.
  2. Add the vodka and a few shakes of bitters to the shaker.
  3. Add ice, and shake to thoroughly combine the ingredients.
  4. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass and add desired amount of ice.
