Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 0.50 oz strawberry Jell-O powder (or half of a 3 oz package)
- 1 cup pineapple juice (from a can)
- 1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 large lemon)
- 1 cup pulp-free orange juice
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda (chilled)
Instructions
- In a large stainless steel pot, bring the sugar, water, and Jell-O to a boil and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice.
- Divide the mixture into a large freezer bag, seal it, and lay it flat in the freezer overnight.
- When ready to serve, transfer the frozen juice to the refrigerator 2 to 5 hours before serving.
- Combine half of the frozen juice with the chilled soda in a large punch bowl.
- Use a fork to flake the ice into a slushy consistency, if needed.
- Repeat the process with the remaining juice and soda as needed.
