Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. sweetened whipped cream, divided
  • 2 oz. Irish whiskey
  • Freshly grated nutmeg or ground cinnamon to garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine freshly brewed hot coffee, heavy cream, and sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar and chill thoroughly.
  2. Spoon 1 Tbsp. Sweetened Whipped Cream into the bottom of a 14-oz. highball glass.
  3. Stir Irish whiskey into the coffee mixture, then pour it over the whipped cream in the glass.
  4. Fill the glass with ice, then top with the remaining 1 Tbsp. Sweetened Whipped Cream.
  5. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg or ground cinnamon.
  6. Enjoy immediately.
