Ingredients

  • 1 cup rosé wine (plus up to 2/3 cup more for blending after freezing)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1.50 oz simple syrup (or 4 tablespoons honey, adjust to taste)
  • 2 oz Aperol, Lillet Blanc, or orange liqueur like Grand Marnier
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the strawberries, rosé, simple syrup or honey, Aperol or orange liqueur, lemon juice, and crushed ice.
  2. Blend until the mixture is completely liquified.
  3. Transfer the pitcher to the freezer and freeze for 6-8 hours.
  4. Scrape the icy mixture from around the blender blades and add up to 5 oz more of rosé to thin the mixture and help get the blender blades moving.
  5. Blend, pulsing if needed, and add more rosé as needed to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately or transfer the mixture into a storage container and freeze until ready to serve.
  7. Chilled Strawberry Rosé Bliss can be prepared up to one week in advance.
