Ingredients
- 1 cup rosé wine (plus up to 2/3 cup more for blending after freezing)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1.50 oz simple syrup (or 4 tablespoons honey, adjust to taste)
- 2 oz Aperol, Lillet Blanc, or orange liqueur like Grand Marnier
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender, combine the strawberries, rosé, simple syrup or honey, Aperol or orange liqueur, lemon juice, and crushed ice.
- Blend until the mixture is completely liquified.
- Transfer the pitcher to the freezer and freeze for 6-8 hours.
- Scrape the icy mixture from around the blender blades and add up to 5 oz more of rosé to thin the mixture and help get the blender blades moving.
- Blend, pulsing if needed, and add more rosé as needed to reach the desired consistency.
- Serve immediately or transfer the mixture into a storage container and freeze until ready to serve.
- Chilled Strawberry Rosé Bliss can be prepared up to one week in advance.
