Ingredients
- 5 oz Rosé Wine
- 1 cup Frozen Watermelon Cubes, seedless
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Water
Instructions
- Pour the rosé wine into an ice cube tray and freeze until firm, for at least 6 hours. The frozen wine cubes should be icy and slushy.
- Cube the watermelon and freeze on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
- Once frozen, transfer the wine and watermelon cubes to a plastic bag and store in the freezer for up to a month.
- Create the simple syrup by combining sugar and water. Heat the mixture on the stovetop or in the microwave until the sugar dissolves.
- When ready to serve, blend the frozen wine and watermelon in a blender until smooth. Allow them to defrost at room temperature for a few minutes if necessary for blending.
- Gradually add the simple syrup to the blended mixture, tasting as you go. Adjust the amount based on the natural sweetness of the wine and fruit.
