Ingredients

  • 5 oz Rosé Wine
  • 1 cup Frozen Watermelon Cubes, seedless
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé wine into an ice cube tray and freeze until firm, for at least 6 hours. The frozen wine cubes should be icy and slushy.
  2. Cube the watermelon and freeze on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
  3. Once frozen, transfer the wine and watermelon cubes to a plastic bag and store in the freezer for up to a month.
  4. Create the simple syrup by combining sugar and water. Heat the mixture on the stovetop or in the microwave until the sugar dissolves.
  5. When ready to serve, blend the frozen wine and watermelon in a blender until smooth. Allow them to defrost at room temperature for a few minutes if necessary for blending.
  6. Gradually add the simple syrup to the blended mixture, tasting as you go. Adjust the amount based on the natural sweetness of the wine and fruit.
