Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chocolate gelato
  • 2 tbsp half-and-half
  • 1/2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz Creme de Cacao (or Bailey's Irish Cream)
  • Chocolate syrup for rimming
  • Brown sugar for rimming
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chocolate gelato, half-and-half, chocolate syrup, vodka, Kahlua, and Creme de Cacao (or Bailey's Irish Cream). Blend until smooth.
  2. On two saucers, create rings of chocolate syrup on one and brown sugar on the other. Dip the rims of martini glasses into the Kahlua, then into the sugar to coat the rims.
  3. Pour the blended drink into the prepared glasses.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top for garnish.
