Ingredients
- 2 oz cognac
- 3/4 oz Cointreau
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- Optional sugar for rim
Instructions
- If desired, rim the glass with sugar by coating the rim with orange or lemon juice and then twirling the glass in sugar to coat.
- Combine all ingredients in a Boston shaker or mixing glass with plenty of ice.
- Stir vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish the cocktail with a twist of orange or lemon.
