Citrus-Infused Fizz Delight

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- A few fresh lemon verbena leaves (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon orange-flower water
- 3/4 cup ice
- 1 tablespoon gin
- 1 tablespoon whipping cream
- 1/2 large egg white
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- Freshly ground nutmeg
- Fresh lemon verbena sprig (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, mix water, sugar, and lemon verbena leaves if desired, and bring to a boil. Add the peel of an orange and a lemon, then simmer for 5 minutes. Let the sugar mixture cool, and then stir in the orange-flower water.
- In a blender, combine 6 tablespoons of the prepared syrup, 3 cups of ice, 1/4 cup gin, 1/4 cup cream, 2 egg whites, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Blend until smooth and foamy.
- Divide the mixture into 4 glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of freshly ground nutmeg. Repeat the blending process for the remaining ingredients and divide among the glasses. Finally, top with a fresh lemon verbena sprig if desired.
