Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut water (such as Vita Coco)
  • 1/8 cup tequila
  • 1/8 cup fresh lime juice (from 1 medium lime)
  • 1.50 tablespoons triple sec
  • 1.50 tablespoons sweetened cream of coconut (such as Coco López)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Freeze the coconut water in a small, shallow plastic container or ice-cube tray for 4 to 5 hours until solid.
  2. In a blender, combine the frozen coconut water, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, cream of coconut, ice, and salt.
  3. Process the mixture until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the blended margarita into a frozen rocks glass.
