Ingredients

  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1 oz coconut water
  • 1 oz cream of coconut
  • 1 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, simmer coconut water, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg for 20 minutes, then strain to remove solids and let it cool.
  2. In a blender, combine the cooled coconut water with the remaining ingredients and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until fully mixed and lightly frothy.
  3. Bottle the mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to integrate.
  4. When ready to serve, add the coquito mix and additional rum to taste in a shaker and shake vigorously without ice, for up to 3 servings at a time.
  5. Strain the mixture into a mug or rocks glass and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick.
