Ingredients
- 3.50 fl. oz full-fat coconut milk
- 1.50 organic egg yolks
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp organic maple syrup OR 1 tbsp Swerve granular sugar replacement
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- A pinch of ground nutmeg
- A pinch of ground cloves
- Rum or Brandy (optional - add a splash to individual serving)
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites and set the whites aside for later use.
- Blend the coconut milk, egg yolks, vanilla extract, sweetener, and spices in a high-speed blender until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat slowly over medium heat until it starts to thicken, stirring frequently. Do not boil.
- Once thickened, remove from the heat and pour into a glass container. Chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- When ready to serve, stir in optional alcohol if desired.
