Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. Earl Grey simple syrup
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar over medium heat, whisking constantly until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat, add 4 Earl Grey tea bags, cover, and let steep for 20 minutes. Then, remove the tea bags and let the syrup cool completely.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, Earl Grey simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg white.
  4. Add ice to the shaker, then shake the ingredients together.
  5. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and serve immediately.
