Cozy Whiskey Delight
A decadent boozy coffee with Irish whiskey, brown sugar, freshly brewed black coffee, topped with a layer of chilled double cream and a touch of nutmeg.
Ingredients
- 1.50 oz Irish whiskey (or blended scotch)
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 5-7 oz freshly brewed black coffee
- 1.50-3 oz double cream, chilled
- Nutmeg, a generous grating
Instructions
- Fill a heatproof glass with hot water and rinse out.
- Pour the whiskey into the glass, then add the sugar and mix until dissolved.
- Add the coffee and stir.
- Lightly whip the cream until slightly thickened.
- Slowly pour the cream over the back of a teaspoon into the glass so it floats on top of the coffee in a layer.
- Grate a little nutmeg on top and serve.
