Ingredients

  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 ounces freshly brewed strong coffee or espresso
  • Ground cinnamon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water.
  2. Cook and stir the mixture until thickened and able to coat the back of a spoon.
