Emerald Whiskey Delight
A traditional Irish Coffee made with Jameson whiskey, sugar, hot coffee, and lightly whipped cream, the *Emerald Whiskey Delight* is a heartwarming and delightful beverage.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Jameson Irish whiskey
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 6 oz freshly brewed hot coffee
- 2 tbsp lightly whipped heavy cream
Instructions
- Fill a stemmed glass coffee mug with boiling water and swirl it to warm the mug. Discard the water.
- Pour the Jameson whiskey into the warmed glass.
- Add the brown sugar.
- Pour the hot coffee into the glass, leaving about an inch from the rim.
- Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Using an upside-down spoon, gently pour the whipped cream over the back of the spoon to float on top of the coffee.
- Optionally, garnish with a trimmed vanilla pod, cinnamon stick, or a grating of fresh nutmeg.
- Serve the coffee on a plate with no spoon and encourage sipping the coffee through the layer of cream.
