Ingredients

  • 3 fresh blackberries
  • 3 fresh blueberries
  • 3 fresh raspberries
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 fresh limes (wedges)
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • Berry Lemonade flavored soda (e.g., Jones Soda or your favorite sparkling berry-flavored soda)
  • 1 tsp blue sugar (for rimming)
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt (for rimming)
  • 1 tsp cracked pepper (for rimming)

Instructions

  1. Combine the colorful rimming salts and crushed peppercorn in a small bowl, then spread evenly onto a small plate.
  2. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip into the rimming salts to create a colorful rim. Set aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, muddle all the fresh berries until crushed and juicy.
  4. Drizzle in agave nectar, squeeze the juice from the lime wedges, and add the silver tequila to the shaker.
  5. Fill the shaker 3/4 of the way with ice, then shake everything together until combined and chilled.
  6. Strain this mixture into the rimmed cocktail glass over fresh ice and top off with sparkling blue Berry Lemonade soda.
