Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1/4 ounce Mexican cinnamon sticks (about 2 sticks)
- 1 whole clove
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons freshly brewed strong coffee, cold
- 3 tablespoons Chilean pisco
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, and clove, then bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then set aside to cool to room temperature.
- Pour the syrup, including the spices, into a large pitcher.
- Add the milk, coffee, pisco, and vanilla, stirring well to combine.
- Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, for a few hours or overnight.
