Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar (can substitute low carb sweetener of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 fresh rosemary twig
  • Sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon cranberry rosemary syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure orange juice (can substitute lemon juice)
  • 1 fresh rosemary twig
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, coconut sugar, water, and rosemary.
  2. Bring to a mild simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook for 7 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and the cranberries have popped.
  3. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding the solids.
  4. In a pitcher, stir together the cranberry rosemary syrup, cranberry juice, and orange juice.
  5. Add a few ice cubes to a glass and pour the cranberry mix equally into the glasses.
  6. Fill the glasses with sparkling water.
  7. Decorate each glass with fresh rosemary and cranberries. Serve immediately.
