Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1.50 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 3 tbsp black spiced rum
  • 2 tbsp sweetened whipped cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a glass measure.
  3. Heat apple cider until boiling, then pour over the cinnamon honey butter.
  4. Add the rum and whisk until the butter has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of additional cinnamon if desired.
