Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • 1/4 cup Pinnacle(r) Whipped Vodka
  • Optional garnishes: whipped cream, crushed peppermint, sprinkles or colored sugar, chocolate curls

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together 1/4 cup of milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  2. Gradually whisk in the remaining milk until fully combined.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Stir in the crushed peppermint, and continue stirring constantly until the candies have dissolved and the mixture is very hot, but not boiling.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Pinnacle(r) Whipped Vodka.
  6. Pour or ladle into a mug and garnish with whipped cream and additional crushed peppermint, if desired.
