Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Basil Hayden's(r) Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz. Black Tea
  • 2 oz. Fresh Apple Juice or Apple Cider
  • 1.50 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.50 oz. Demerara Simple Syrup
  • A dash of Angostura(r) Bitters
  • 4 oz. Club Soda
  • 1 Ice Block
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 Apple Slices
  • Garnish with freshly grated Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In advance, prepare the ice block by filling a 4-ounce square plastic container with water, two apple slices, and one cinnamon stick, then place it in the freezer.
  2. In a punch bowl, add Basil Hayden's(r) Bourbon, sweet vermouth, black tea, apple juice, lemon juice, Demerara syrup, and Angostura(r) Bitters, then stir.
  3. Top with club soda.
  4. Carefully place the pre-made ice block into the punch bowl.
  5. Garnish with apple slices and freshly-grated cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Serves 1.
