Frosty Strawberry Rosé Slush

A delightful and refreshing frozen rosé cocktail with fresh strawberries and a hint of liquor, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rosé wine
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1.50 oz simple syrup or 4 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 2 oz Aperol, Lillet Blanc, or orange liquor like Grand Marnier
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the strawberries, rosé, simple syrup or honey, Aperol or preferred liquor, lemon juice, and crushed ice.
  2. Blend until smooth and liquified.
  3. Place the pitcher in the freezer and freeze for 6-8 hours.
  4. Scrape the mixture from around the blender blades and add up to 5 oz more of rosé to thin and help get the blender blades moving.
  5. Blend, pulsing as needed and adding more rosé as necessary to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Serve immediately or store the mixture in a container in the freezer until ready to serve. Slushies can be made up to one week in advance.
