Ingredients

  • 3 (6 oz.) cups of strawberry Italian ice
  • 1/4 cup blanco tequila
  • Fresh mint sprig for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Run the strawberry Italian ice cups under hot water for 10 seconds to slightly thaw and make them easier to remove from the cups.
  2. Empty the Italian ice into a blender.
  3. Add the blanco tequila to the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth, stopping to shake or push down any unblended chunks of Italian ice as needed, about 20 seconds in a high-speed blender or about 1 minute in a regular blender.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into a glass.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
