Ingredients
- 3 oz Sauvignon blanc wine
- 1/2 ruby red grapefruit, peeled, divided into frozen sections
- 1 tbsp stevia or monk fruit sweetener
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Juice of 1/2 ruby red grapefruit
- 4 oz grapefruit-flavored, no-calorie seltzer
- Sauvignon blanc wine, frozen into a large ice ball
- Herb sprig garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine Sauvignon blanc wine, frozen ruby red grapefruit, stevia or monk fruit sweetener, lime juice, and blend until frothy.
- In a large glass, stir together grapefruit juice, stevia, lime juice, and seltzer.
- Place the frozen wine ice ball in a wide-mouth cocktail glass.
- Pour the juice and seltzer mixture over the wine ball using a fine-mesh strainer.
- Serve immediately with a straw and garnish with an herb sprig if desired.
- Refresh the drink with extra juice and seltzer mixture as needed.
