Frozen Orchard Delight
A refreshing and smooth slushee cocktail made from frozen apple cider, apple brandy, and a hint of lemon, perfect for warm autumn days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen apple cider
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1/2 cup apple brandy (e.g., Apple Jack or Calvados)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black walnut bitters
- Optional: fresh grated ginger
- Garnish: apple slices and cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Freeze 2 cups of apple cider in an ice cube tray for several hours until solid.
- Empty the frozen cider into a blender.
- Add lemon juice, apple brandy, salt, and walnut bitters to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with sliced apple and a cinnamon stick.
