Ingredients

  • 1.70oz blackcurrant sirop
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1.70oz gin
  • Ice
  • 6oz fiery ginger beer (we like Fentimans)

Instructions

  1. Pour the blackcurrant sirop into a glass.
  2. Squeeze in the lime juice and then add the squeezed-out lime half to the glass along with the mint.
  3. Muddle together (with the handle of a wooden spoon or cocktail muddler).
  4. Pour in the gin and mix to combine.
  5. Fill the glass with ice.
  6. Top up with ginger beer and serve without delay - preferably in the garden.
