Gingerbread Cookie Delight
A creamy and warm Gingerbread Martini made with ginger syrup and crushed gingersnaps, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 4 gingersnaps
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur (such as Baileys)
- 2 tablespoons ginger syrup
- 2 tablespoons half-and-half
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- To make the Ginger Syrup, combine water, granulated sugar, and chopped fresh ginger in a saucepan. Simmer until sugar is dissolved, then let it stand for 30 minutes before straining into an airtight container.
- Place 3 gingersnaps in a resealable plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or heavy skillet. Transfer the crushed cookies to a plate.
- Dip the rim of a martini glass into honey, then into the crushed cookies to coat lightly.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vodka, Irish cream liqueur, ginger syrup, and half-and-half. Shake until well combined and chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass and garnish with whipped cream and the remaining gingersnap. Serve immediately.
