Ingredients

  • 2 sugared gingerbread man cookies, finely crushed
  • 2 oz gingerbread syrup, plus 1/2 tbsp. for rimming
  • 1 1/5 ounces crème de coco liqueur
  • Dillons Ginger bitters
  • 2 to 3 ounces half and half cream
  • ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Dip the rim of a cocktail glass in gingerbread syrup, then into the crushed gingerbread cookie crumbs. Carefully add 2 ice cubes to the glass.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gingerbread syrup, crème de cocoa, a couple of dashes of ginger bitters, and the cream. Shake the mixture well.
  3. Strain the shaken cocktail into the prepared glass.
  4. Gently sift the cocoa powder on top of the cocktail.
