Ingredients

  • 1 oz Grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • 1/2 oz Agave nectar or simple syrup
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • Grapefruit soda

Instructions

  1. Prepare the serving glass by optionally rubbing it with agave or lime juice and rimming it in salt, if desired.
  2. Juice the grapefruit and lime.
  3. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave. Shake for 30 seconds to one minute.
  4. Add ice to the serving glass and strain the shaken cocktail into the glass.
  5. Pour grapefruit soda on top of the drink until it's full.
  6. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit or lime.
