Ingredients

  • Kosher salt
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 ounces guava nectar
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  1. Moisten the rim of a margarita glass or tumbler by rubbing a lime wedge around its circumference.
  2. Rotate the rim of the glass in kosher salt spread on a flat plate.
  3. Fill the glass about halfway with ice cubes.
  4. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine guava nectar, tequila, triple sec, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
  5. Shake vigorously, then strain into the prepared glass.
  6. Garnish the rim with a lime slice or wedge, if desired.
