A refined rendition of the 1970s classic, the Harvey's Elegant Twist cocktail brings together gin, fresh citrus juices, and the unique flavor of Galliano liqueur for a sophisticated and delightful libation.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin, preferably Plymouth
- 3 ounces fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce Galliano liqueur
- 1 teaspoon rich cane sugar syrup (2:1, cane sugar:water)
Instructions
- Express the oils from an orange peel into an empty Collins glass.
- Place the orange peel inside the glass, using the back of a bar spoon to create a decorative "horse's neck" curl, leaving the end hanging over the glass.
- Add four or five Kold-Draft ice cubes one by one to stabilize the peel.
- Whip-shake all the ingredients with ice vigorously to create maximum frothiness.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
