Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz blended aged rum, preferably Appleton Estate Reserve Blend
  • 1 oz hibiscus syrup
  • 1/3 oz rich demerara simple syrup
  • 0.50 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz Champagne, chilled
  • Preserved wild hibiscus flower and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the aged rum, hibiscus syrup, rich demerara simple syrup, and lime juice in a punch bowl filled with cracked ice.
  2. Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours before serving.
  3. 20 minutes before serving, top the chilled ingredients with Champagne and stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish the punch bowl with preserved wild hibiscus flowers resting on lime wheels and mint sprigs.
  5. Ladle into cups and serve.
