Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 ounce Spiced Rum
  • 1/2 ounce Brandy
  • 1/2 ounce Bourbon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the egg yolk and sugar together until thick and pale.
  2. In a separate pitcher, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, half and half, vanilla extract, spiced rum, brandy, and bourbon.
  3. Slowly pour the liquid into the egg mixture while mixing on low speed, then increase to medium-low until just combined.
  4. Ensure thorough mixing by scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl.
  5. Stir in a pinch of nutmeg, then pour the eggnog into a glass jar and seal tightly.
  6. Allow the eggnog to sit in the fridge for at least two weeks before serving or gifting.
