Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Hangar 1 Honeycomb Vodka
  • 6 oz fresh-pressed apple cider
  • 2 oz water
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp packed, finely grated ginger root
  • 1 tsp strained fresh lemon juice
  • Dash cinnamon
  • Dash freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • Cinnamon stick, apple slice, or lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine apple cider, water, finely grated ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring to a bare simmer.
  2. In a mug, combine the honeycomb vodka and lemon juice.
  3. Strain the hot spiced cider into the mug, discarding the solids.
  4. Stir in the honey until melted.
  5. Optionally, add more lemon and/or honey to taste.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, apple round, and/or lemon wheel.
