Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 3/4 cup whisky
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and water in a bowl or jug, stir, cover, and let soak for 24 hours.
  2. Strain out the oats, reserving the liquid. Use a fine tea strainer or muslin cloth to do this, ensuring all the liquid is extracted from the oats.
  3. Mix the honey into the oat liquid.
  4. Add the whisky and stir.
  5. Add the cream and stir if desired.
