Ingredients

  • 3 (6 oz.) cups of strawberry Italian ice
  • 1/2 cup blanco tequila
  • Fresh mint sprig for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the strawberry Italian ice cups under hot water for 10 seconds to soften and ease removal from the cups.
  2. Empty the Italian ice into a blender and pour in the blanco tequila.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth, pausing to shake or push down any unblended chunks of Italian ice as needed, for about 20 seconds in a high-speed blender or about 1 minute in a regular blender.
  4. Pour the mixture into a glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.
